Medical Records Associate

📋 Description

• Organize, maintain, and update participant medical records in the EHR.
• Ensure HIPAA/CMS compliance and PHI privacy across care settings.
• Coordinate record requests with internal teams and external providers.
• Support care teams with timely access to records and information.
• Maintain accurate indexing of electronic source documentation.

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years of medical records or HIM/healthcare admin experience.
• Associate’s degree or higher in HIM, Healthcare Admin, or related field.
• Experience with Epic EHR: Chart Review, Media Manager, Care Everywhere, In Basket.
• Knowledge of HIPAA, CMS, and PHI; confidentiality.
• Detail‑oriented, adaptable, and able to refine workflows.
