Serve as the primary legal expert on CEA and NFA rules guiding licensing obligations.
Lead end-to-end licensing strategy, registrations, and exemption frameworks.
Draft, review, and negotiate regulatory agreements, including ISDA/CSA docs.
Partner with Trading, Operations, Risk, and Engineering to embed compliance.
Monitor regulatory shifts and advise executives on necessary pivots.
Lead audit and examination responses and regulatory communications.

🎯 Requirements

J.D. degree with focus on financial services, commodities, or corporate law.
4+ years practicing law; at least 3+ years on CFTC/NFA matters.
Deep knowledge of the CEA and Dodd-Frank Title VII.
Technical proficiency in derivatives, incl OTC products and margin lending.
Strong drafting and negotiation skills with ISDA/CSA or clearing docs experience.
Proven collaboration with cross-functional teams (Trading, Engineering, Risk).
