📋 Description

• Lead architecture and development of Mercor's native Android app.
• Design, build, and ship Android apps using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
• Own major product initiatives end-to-end from strategy to launch.
• Define Android engineering standards, patterns, testing, and release quality.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, AI, Backend, and Infra teams to deliver customer features.
• Mentor engineers and help grow a strong mobile engineering culture.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of professional Android software engineering experience.
• Strong expertise in Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
• Experience shipping and maintaining production Android apps through the Google Play Store.
• Strong understanding of modern Android architecture, testing, debugging, and performance optimization.
• Fluent in using modern AI software development tools to improve engineering productivity.
• Experience mentoring engineers and raising the technical bar across a team.
