📋 Description

• Lead Linux kernel and driver work for Linux initiator, FC, and NIC drivers on Pure Storage.
• Debug VMware initiator issues; create Purity compatibility docs.
• Maintain FC-SCSI target driver and NIC drivers; improve multipathing.
• Maintain Linux kernels for internal testing; document supported configurations.
• Optimize initiator behavior and performance; contribute to Linux upstream.
• Debug storage attach issues and analyze complex kernel bugs.

🎯 Requirements

• Strong Linux kernel and device-driver experience (storage or networking preferred)
• 5+ years of development experience; typically 10+ years
• Experience with storage protocols: SCSI (FC-SCSI, iSCSI, FCP) and NVMe fabrics (ROCE/TCP)
• Experience with VMware initiator stack and debugging
• Proficiency in C and C++, plus Python; upstreaming Linux code a plus
• Experience leading engineers and delivering on time
