Mental Health Specialist II - Acute Behavioral Services

📋 Description

• Provide direct support to individuals with intensive behavioral health needs.
• Follow behavior/treatment plans and crisis-prevention strategies.
• Maintain a clean, safe, structured living environment; assist with daily living.
• Accurately document services and observations using electronic systems.
• Monitor changes, identify escalation indicators, and communicate with the team.
• Support family, assist with appointments and medication tasks.

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• 3 years minimum experience or a degree in a mental-health field
• Must be at least 18 (some programs require 21+)
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance
• Basic computer skills and ability to use electronic documentation systems
