Mental Health Specialist II - Acute Behavioral Services

📋 Description

• Provide direct support to individuals with intensive behavioral/mental-health needs.
• Follow behavior/treatment plans, crisis-prevention, de-escalation.
• Maintain a clean, safe living environment and assist with daily living tasks.
• Document services and observations using electronic systems (T-logs, Therap).
• Monitor behavioral changes and escalate concerns to supervisors as needed.
• Support families, assist with appointments and medication tasks as allowed.

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3 years minimum of experience with chronic/severe mental illness OR degree in mental-health field.
• Must be 18 or older; some programs require 21 or older.
• Valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance.
• Basic computer skills and ability to use electronic documentation systems.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs; stand and walk for extended periods.
