Mental Health Specialist II - Acute Behavioral Services

📋 Description

• Provide direct support to individuals with behavioral/mental health needs
• Follow behavior plans, treatment plans, crisis prevention strategies
• Maintain a safe, structured living environment
• Document services using electronic systems (T-logs, Therap)
• Monitor behaviors and escalate concerns to supervisors
• Assist families with appointments and medication tasks

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• 3 years experience with chronic/severe mental illness OR degree in mental-health field
• Must be at least 18; some programs require 21
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance
• Basic computer skills and electronic documentation
• Lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
