Mental Health Specialist II - Acute Behavioral Services

📋 Description

• Provide direct support to individuals with intensive behavioral and mental‑health needs.
• Support in accordance with behavior plans, treatment plans, crisis strategies, and restraints as
• Maintain a clean, safe living environment and assist with daily living tasks.
• Document services and observations using electronic systems (T‑logs, Therap, health tracking).
• Monitor changes and communicate with supervisors during crises or safety events.
• Support family contacts, appointments, and follow medical/nutrition plans.

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• 3 years (min) experience with chronic/severe mental illness OR degree in a related field
• Must be at least 18; driver’s license and auto insurance
• Basic computer skills and ability to use electronic systems
