Mental Health Wellness Coach

📋 Description

• Provide behavioral health and wellness support to K-12 students in schools.
• Promote emotional wellbeing and deliver behavioral health education.
• Coordinate care by connecting students and families to community resources.
• Collaborate with educators and behavioral health professionals, including those supporting IEPs.
• Conduct regular check-ins using structured curriculum materials to promote ongoing wellness.
• Follow school and ESS protocols for crisis response and student safety.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or related field.
• Minimum 2,000 hours of related field/work experience.
• 2+ years experience with children/adolescents in school, health, or community settings.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
• Strong understanding of adolescent development and behavioral health.
• California Certified Wellness Coach certification (ESS covers certification costs).
