📋 Description

  • Design and operate large-scale Kafka and Confluent environments.
  • Own Kafka cluster sizing, upgrades, security, and automation.

  • Support teams building reliable event-driven architectures.

🎯 Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years with Apache Kafka/Confluent in production.
  • Strong Kafka internals knowledge: partitions, replication, ISRs, consumer groups.
  • Experience with Kafka security: SASL, mTLS, ACLs, RBAC.
  • Hands-on with Kafka Connect, Schema Registry, Kafka Streams or ksqlDB.
  • Experience designing HA and DR strategies for Kafka.
