Metabase - Success Engineer

📋 Description

• Talk to users to understand goals and challenges
• Help customers design and optimize Metabase implementation
• Guide customers on data sources, shape data, and turn questions into queries
• Solve complex problems and troubleshoot customer issues
• Collaborate with writers to create educational materials
• Serve as the voice of the customer to product and engineering

🎯 Requirements

• Enjoy helping people and solving their problems
• Strong technical background with 3+ years of production code, admin systems, or databases
• Strong database and SQL skills
• Expert in at least two: Designing web apps; Managing infrastructure (Docker, AWS/GCP); Managing databases
• Nice to have: Experience with Metabase or BI tools
• Nice to have: Experience working for an open source product
