Metals Supervisor – Analytical Operations

📋 Description

• Lead daily Metals laboratory operations to meet turnaround time, throughput, and data quality
• Coordinate workflow and sample prioritization to ensure production targets are consistently achieved
• Apply expert technical judgment to identify and resolve analytical or workflow challenges
• Ensure accurate sample tracking, processing, and documentation within LIMS
• Monitor instrument utilization and staffing alignment to maximize operational efficiency
• Supervise, coach, and mentor analysts and technicians through clear expectations and hands-on

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related scientific discipline, or equivalent education and
• 4+ years of experience in analytical testing laboratories
• Hands-on metals experience in a production or analytical environment
• Strong understanding of laboratory workflows, process optimization, and sample lifecycle management
• Experience applying technical judgment to troubleshoot analytical challenges
• Knowledge of environmental testing protocols, regulations, and certifications
