Meteorological Data Scientist

📋 Description

• Develop data visualizations, statistical analyses, and product prototypes that maximize Tomorrow.io
• Perform validations of AI weather models and products.
• Partner closely with Weather Science, Weather Applications, Bespoke Solutions, and Space and Sensor
• Use AI tools and model data to produce new product prototypes for scientists and end users.
• Work with Marketing, Accounts, and Customer Teams to produce customer-focused use cases
• Work with scientists and customers on Tomorrow.io proprietary satellite data use cases.

🎯 Requirements

• A Passion for meteorology — A degree in Atmospheric Science or Meteorology is required.
• 3+ years of experience as an operational meteorologist or research atmospheric scientist (with
• Curious mindset — Think deeply about why meteorological data works the way it does, and how to
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with experience working cross-functionally and in
• Strong hands-on skills with scientific code (e.g., Python), using common packages for: Data
• Experience with cloud compute.
