📋 Description

  • Radar Operations & Data Quality: monitor radar performance
  • Identify, diagnose, and document anomalies in radar products
  • Validate radar data for accuracy and reliability
  • Troubleshoot with ROC electronics/engineers to resolve issues
  • Provide meteorological input during maintenance and fault analysis
  • Support lifecycle sustainment: testing, certification, and validation

🎯 Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Meteorology, Atmospheric Science, or related discipline
  • Experience with Doppler weather radar systems (WSR-88D preferred)
  • Demonstrated experience analyzing and interpreting radar data
  • Familiarity with Linux-based systems (Red Hat preferred)
  • Experience with scripting or programming (e.g., Python, shell scripting)
  • Understanding of radar system operations, data flow, and signal interpretation
