Metrology Calibration Technician

📋 Description

• Inspect, calibrate, and adjust measurement equipment to ISO/NIST/GMP standards.
• Perform routine testing, inspections, and diagnostics with calibration tools.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and repair of test/measurement systems.
• Document calibration results and job records in the Quality Management System.
• Support Product Control Plans with measurements, tests, and audits in QMS.
• Maintain clean, safe work areas and contribute to continuous improvement.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years experience in heavy manufacturing assembly or quality inspection
• Experience with metrology tools: calipers, micrometers, gauges, CMMs, optical comparators
• Experience with tensile, wire harness, ultrasonic testers, and related test equipment
• Experience auditing to ISO 9001, NADCAP, ASTM, IPC 610/620/J-STD-001
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills
