Metrology CMM Technician

📋 Description

• Operate CMMs to inspect component dimensions and geometry.
• Write/modify CMM programs from CAD models and drawings.
• Set up and calibrate CMM probes, fixtures, and equipment.
• Perform measurements and audits; input results into QMS.
• Identify process variations and communicate findings to teams.
• Support safety and maintain clean metrology spaces.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years in heavy manufacturing assembly or quality inspection.
• Experience with metrology tools: calipers, micrometers, gauges, CMMs.
• Experience with test equipment: tensile testers, wire harness, ultrasonic testers.
• Experience with standards: ISO 9001, NADCAP, ASTM, IPC 610/620/J-STD-001.
• Strong attention to detail and communication.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with production and engineering.
