Mid-Level Developer (Java/Backend)

📋 Description

• Develop, deploy, maintain API-driven apps across the full SDLC.
• Design, build, and optimize RESTful APIs using Java and modern frameworks.
• Build scalable backends with Java tech: J2EE, Tomcat, PostgreSQL, OpenSearch.
• Support cloud-native ETL and automation with AWS Step Functions, Lambda.
• Contribute to database architecture and performance for large-scale environments.
• Collaborate with teams to define requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a software engineer/backend developer.
• Strong experience with RESTful APIs, API design, and security.
• Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot/JaxRS/Jersey.
• Familiarity with Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
• Strong database knowledge: Oracle, MariaDB, PostgreSQL, Aurora, indexing strategies.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain Public Trust (High) clearance.
