Mid-Level LATAM AML Analyst

📋 Description

• Review daily alerts from monitoring tools for suspicious activity
• Screen sanctions, PEP, adverse media, and watchlists during onboarding/reviews
• Perform ad-hoc screening as required
• Escalate positive or unusual alerts to relevant stakeholders
• Assist investigations of unusual or high-risk transactions and patterns
• Maintain case files and regulatory documentation with SLAs

🎯 Requirements

• Relevant AML/CTF experience in compliance or regulatory teams in financial services or betting
• Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, or other relevant Compliance background
• Working knowledge of AML legislation in Brazil, Central Bank ordinances, and FATF recommendations
• Fluency in English and Portuguese (written and spoken)
• Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, ability to manage multiple investigations
• Proactive, good communicator, ability to liaise across teams and external entities
