📋 Description

• Plan, implement, and reflect on instruction with IEP-aligned accommodations.
• Collaborate with grade-level teams, co-teachers, interventionists, and principals.
• Differentiate instruction with accommodations to meet diverse student needs.
• Write, implement, and monitor IEPs with related service providers and families.
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom culture and support school-wide policies.
• Build strong relationships with students, families, and colleagues; engage families through open communication.

🎯 Requirements

• Maryland State Teacher Certification in Special Education or eligibility.
• Eligible for hire by Baltimore City Public Schools.
• Two years of public school teaching experience (special ed preferred).
• Passion for working with students from historically resilient communities.
• Experience teaching in a predominantly African American environment (preferred).
• Experience writing IEPs and collaborating in co-taught or inclusion settings (preferred).
