Mission Modeling Engineer

📋 Description

• Responsible for satellite and constellation mission performance and utility analysis for future
• Work across all mission areas: imaging, radar, comms, etc.
• Perform high-fidelity modeling and simulation that maps each key engineering parameter to
• Conduct parametric analyses and optimizations to inform the optimal design points for our product
• Work directly with senior technical leadership and business leadership to understand and model new
• Work with hardware engineers to correctly model subsystem and satellite performance

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience performing satellite system modeling and simulation
• Full proficiency with modeling orbits and constellations
• Demonstrated experience in producing parametric analyses/optimizations, informing how engineering
• Familiarity with satellite subsystems and at least one type of mission payload
• Demonstrated ability to take an open-ended modeling and simulation problem, ask questions, define
• Basic familiarity with modern combat systems and doctrines
