Mission Operations Engineer

📋 Description

• Develop training and HIL testing programs; certify console flight controllers and crew.
• Improve processes and systems for Mission Operations, Training, and HIL testing.
• Identify improvements to training systems and ground architecture; collaborate to test.
• Translate customer requirements into Concepts of Operations balancing payloads.
• Develop spacecraft operations training programs and crew procedures; ensure safe operations.
• Provide operational support for preflight tests and checkouts to ensure readiness for flight.

🎯 Requirements

• Experience in human spaceflight operations, HIL testing, and crew training development.
• Master’s degree in a technical field.
• 3+ years in spacecraft design, build, and test.
• 10+ years in operation and training of complex spaceflight systems; console leadership.
• Spacecraft systems engineering: avionics, propulsion, attitude, RF/optical comms.
• Space-to-Ground comms: RF, ground stations, modems, antennas.
