Mission Systems Technician

📋 Description

• Install, configure, maintain, and sustain airborne ISR mission systems, including EO/IR sensors
• Conduct pre-mission system checks, field-level troubleshooting, corrective maintenance, and system
• Perform Windows and Linux system administration, including scripting, log analysis, patch
• Operate RF and electronic test equipment, including spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, signal
• Configure and troubleshoot TCP/IP-based mission networks, including static routing, subnetting
• Diagnose faults across RF, power, and IP-based interfaces using technical schematics, wiring

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or at least 6 years of relevant professional experience; alternatively, related
• At least 3 years of experience in supporting ISR mission systems, including ISR sensors, TAC, and
• Proficient with RF and optical test equipment including spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, signal
• Strong knowledge of radar fundamentals and operating modes, including concepts like synthetic
• Strong understanding of RF signal paths and IP-based system interfaces
• Experience implementing technical changes and troubleshooting configurations in complex hardware
