MLRO & Compliance Officer

📋 Description

• Oversee MiCA license; liaise with MFSA and FIAU.
• Lead AML/CTF policy development and compliance program.
• Submit STRs and CTRs to FIAU within required timelines.
• Ensure systems meet AML/CTF requirements; manage risk.
• Coordinate regulator requests and maintain records.
• Provide AML training and report risks to the Board.

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of AML experience.
• Minimum 3 years in compliance within financial services or crypto.
• Strong regulatory compliance focus to manage complex issues.
• Familiarity with GoAML and Chainalysis (or similar tools) a plus.
• Experience with Maltese AML/CFT framework (PMLA/PMLR/FIAU); MiCA desirable.
• Ability to balance regulatory compliance with business growth and innovation.
