Mold Maker / Mold Repair Apprentice

📋 Description

• Repair parts including sanding, welding, grinding, cutting and polishing as needed
• Use multiple air tools, hand tools, spray welders, CNC, lathes and torches
• Inspect and measure parts after work is completed
• Deliver job change mold equipment and assist with job changes
• Complete the 4-year apprentice program, which includes on-the-job training and classroom time

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2-year technical degree in tool and die making or machine technology or equivalent years of direct
• Previous CNC machine experience is highly desired
• Must be able to pass the Bennett Mechanical Comprehension Test
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis
• Experience using specialized measuring devices such as micrometers and calipers
