Molecular Medical Technologist (Part-Time)

📋 Description

• Perform a variety of laboratory tests on patient samples using automated and manual methods
• Perform laboratory tasks such as extractions, library and control preparation, reagent preparation
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, troubleshoot issues, and perform routine maintenance on
• Ensure adherence to laboratory SOPs and processes for specimen processing, results generation
• Maintain accurate record keeping utilizing Good Documentation Practices for daily quality control
• Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure accuracy and reliability

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, Biochemistry, or related field
• ASCP, AMT, AAB, or equivalent certification ideal
• Minimum 1 year of laboratory experience, clinical laboratory experience preferred
• Proficient in laboratory skills including micropipettes, multichannel pipettes, dilutions, and
• Knowledge of CAP, CLIA, FDA, OSHA regulations
• Experience with molecular, molecular microbiology, or genetics in a clinical lab preferred
