Motion Planning Engineer

📋 Description

• Write software for autonomous aircraft systems (fighter aircraft, UAVs) to complete missions.
• Build and improve aerial autonomy software architectures deployed on real systems.
• Collaborate with DoD experts and vendors to integrate autonomy software onto OEM hardware.

🎯 Requirements

• 3-5 years in autonomous vehicle motion planning or robotics.
• 3D+ path planning with RRT* or similar.
• 2/2.5D grid planning (A* or similar).
• Autonomy algorithms in C++ or Python.
• Outer-loop control; OO programming; PX4/ArduPilot nice to have.
• Git, VS Code, GitLab; US citizen; Secret clearance eligible; travel ~20%.
