MRI Technologist

📋 Description

• Interpret and follow physician orders accurately.
• Explain procedures, medications, or contrast to patients clearly.
• Review patient history and MR safety assessments.
• Position patients and perform MR scans per physician specs.
• Communicate with patients to ensure comfort and reduce anxiety.
• Insert IV catheters, prepare contrast, and operate power injectors per protocol.

🎯 Requirements

• Active ARRT, ARMRIT or NMTCB certification.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
• Proven MRI Technologist experience with MRI imaging principles and protocols.
• Experience with PACS systems.
• Deep familiarity with MRI equipment (Siemens preferred).
• Knowledge of anatomy, MRI physics and IV administration.
