MSP Project Engineer

📋 Description

• Lead client project delivery on-site in NYC for MSP deployments
• Design, deploy, and upgrade servers, networking, cloud, and security
• Office builds, moves, and MDM/MAM + Conditional Access
• Collaborate with PMs and account teams; provide updates and docs
• Act as escalation point for project issues
• Travel to client sites across NYC area for installations and assessments (50-75%)

🎯 Requirements

• 3-5+ years IT MSP exp; min 2+ years hands-on project engineering
• Strong experience implementing IT infrastructure projects from design through completion
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows Server, AD, and MSP toolsets (RMM, PSA)
• Hands-on with firewall/network platforms (Meraki, FortiGate, SonicWALL, Sophos)
• Hands-on with Microsoft Entra ID and Intune; CA policy and MDM/MAM enrollment
• Experience with server virtualization and migrations (VMware, Hyper-V, P2V/V2V)
• Ability to work independently and on multiple projects
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Strong time/notes entry within a PSA
• Understanding of predictive and hybrid project methodologies; WBS
• Located in or near NYC and able to travel to client sites as required
