Multilingual (ELL/ESL) Teacher: Newark, NJ

📋 Description

• Prepare lesson plans in accordance with students’ level of English proficiency
• Teach small group classes using pull-out and push-in model
• Use data to responsively teach mastery of the English language
• Collaborate with students, families, and colleagues to support progress
• Monitor progress and adjust strategies to meet learning objectives
• Update student goal trackers and use data to guide lesson plans

🎯 Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university.
• Official transcripts showing degree conferred are required prior to the starting date.
• GPA: 3.0+ if graduation date after 2016; 2.75+ if before.
• Appropriate state teaching certification completed or in process.
• Subject matter expertise.
• Demonstrated interest in working with students from diverse economic and cultural backgrounds.
