📋 Description

• Take ownership of annual municipal bookings and backlog targets; manage pipeline.
• Spearhead capture planning: stakeholder mapping, pricing, and competitive differentiation.
• Shape project definitions early via CIP support, planning workshops, needs assessments.
• Lead shortlist interviews and negotiations; support contract execution and renewals.
• Build and manage strategic accounts; sustain relationships with city/county decision-makers.
• Track market trends and funding programs; translate into pursuit targets.

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years in municipal/public works civil engineering consulting with BD responsibilities.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Demonstrated success in winning municipal work and leading growth strategy; executive presence.
• Strong understanding of municipal procurement (RFQ/RFP, on-call contracts, QBS) and negotiation.
• Proven seller-doer with ability to generate new business; deep municipal network.
• PE license preferred; multi-office pursuit leadership experience.
