Municipal Senior Water/Wastewater Engineer

📋 Description

• Supervise and manage staff providing technical assistance to small, underserved water and
• Support utilities in securing funding and in designing, constructing, and maintaining sustainable
• Assess and promote innovative water and wastewater treatment technologies, and develop practical
• Evaluate the design, costs, feasibility, and environmental impacts of proposed water and wastewater
• Guide the preparation, review, and delivery of preliminary engineering reports
• Manage environmental sampling and field survey programs; perform advanced analyses of sampling

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in chemical, environmental, civil, or a related engineering discipline
• 20–25 years of progressively responsible experience in water resources management, wastewater
• Demonstrated expertise in developing comprehensive engineering reports, from preliminary
• Strong understanding of applicable environmental regulations, permitting requirements, and
• Knowledge of federal water and wastewater funding programs, financing mechanisms, and eligibility
• Excellent technical writing, verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
