MySQL/Postgres Database Administrator

📋 Description

• Develop and maintain database documentation for data standards and definitions.
• Identify and implement database requirements for apps with cross-team collaboration.
• Optimize database performance by evaluating and recommending new DB technologies.
• Support users by resolving data issues and guiding queries with best practices.
• Execute maintenance tasks: defragmentation, backups, replication.
• Design, install, configure, monitor, patch, tune, and troubleshoot databases.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of database administration experience.
• Backup, DR planning, performance optimization, and data security experience.
• Docker and Kubernetes experience.
• MySQL, PostgreSQL, MSSQL knowledge.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience with virtualization and cloud technologies.
