Network Engineer

📋 Description

• Design, deploy, operate production datacenter and campus/core networks
• Own routing and switching config standards (BGP, OSPF/IS-IS)
• Qualify new network platforms, optics, topologies; plan capacity
• Build monitoring, alerting, and operational documentation
• Troubleshoot Layer 2/3 incidents end-to-end; drive root cause
• Automate network tasks with Python, Ansible, or similar

🎯 Requirements

• Several years designing/operating production networks (DC, ISP, cloud)
• Hands-on BGP and at least one IGP (OSPF or IS-IS)
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, EVPN/VXLAN, optics
• Experience troubleshooting live incidents and on-call
• Willing to work onsite in Palo Alto; travel to Memphis
• Strong written and verbal communication
