Network Engineer - ML Infrastructure (High-Speed Interconnects)

📋 Description

• Design and optimize high-speed copper and optical interconnects for AI clusters (100k+ GPU scale).
• Collaborate with vendors to bring up next-gen transceivers and pluggable optics.
• Explore new interconnect modalities to improve network economics and reliability.
• Interface with ML training teams to map workload patterns to network topology.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years hands-on experience in high-speed interconnects, preferably in hyperscale environments.
• Master’s or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Photonics or Physics.
• Deep knowledge of PAM4 SerDes, equalization, jitter, crosstalk; FEC, Retimers, TIAs and drivers.
• Optical link budget analysis and performance metrics (TDECQ, OMA, Tcode, stressed receiver).
• Experience with transceiver components (CW lasers, SiPh PICs, EML, DSP, subassemblies).
• Familiarity with thermal, mechanical, power and signal integrity constraints; SiPh design process
