Network Infrastructure Engineer

📋 Description

• Own Ghost's cloud infra (AWS/Railway/Vercel): VPC, compute, storage, IAM, security.
• Design and maintain LA/NY office networks: switches, firewalls, VLANs, Wi-Fi.
• Partner with Engineering on the deployment pipeline; ensure CI/CD reliability.
• Triage outages and drive root-cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
• Implement and enforce security/compliance: access control, certificate management, vulnerability management, audit logging.
• Evaluate and roll out new infrastructure and tooling; advise across Engineering, Product, and Design.

🎯 Requirements

• BA/BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years infra/systems engineering; at least 3 years at a high-growth startup.
• Strong AWS (VPC, EC2, RDS, S3, IAM, Route53) and Railway/Vercel.
• Experience managing enterprise office networking: switches, firewalls, VLANs, Wi-Fi.
• Security/compliance knowledge: SOC 2, access control, cert management.
• Terraform (IaC) experience.
• Strong ownership mindset; comfortable in ambiguity and tight resources.
• Experience building/scaling infra in lean startup environments.
