Network Operations Engineer

📋 Description

• Operations and maintenance of Megaport’s next-gen network
• Resolve major network and Level 3 customer incidents
• Manage capacity, forecasting and deployment
• Document work in Megaport’s OSS/BSS systems
• Ensure monitoring for network equipment
• Develop and deliver training to Network Operations staff

🎯 Requirements

• Strong background in network incident resolution and deployment
• Production experience with IS-IS, BGP, MPLS TE, MPLS L2/L3 VPN
• Optical networks experience with DWDM and ROADM
• Transit networks with upstream, downstream and peering
• Juniper, Cisco and Nokia hardware
• Linux OS with Perl or Python coding experience
• Proactive, self-motivated, organized with attention to detail
