Network Operations Engineer

📋 Description

• Manage the full operational lifecycle, SLOs, and availability of network services.
• Design and develop automation tooling by writing production-quality code to eliminate toil.
• Collaborate with Workplace, TDI, Security, and stakeholders to resolve incidents and improve IT network security.
• Maintain fleet-wide consistency across software, configuration, and security; assist with researching and implementing innovative network technologies.
• Participate in on-call rotation; troubleshoot live incidents and translate engineering impacts to non-technical stakeholders.

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years in a professional role with a Bachelor's, or an advanced degree with no experience.
• Proficient in writing production-grade code to automate tasks and reduce toil.
• Strong understanding of core networking: WiFi, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPN, ACLs, routing, and firewall policies.
• Experience with network device monitoring, alerting, and logging tools.
• Ability to foster open dialogue and collaboration while maintaining a secure end-user experience.
