Network Operations Resident Engineer

📋 Description

• Serve as the primary technical resource for network operations, infrastructure initiatives, and
• Act as the main technical liaison between customer teams and network vendor support and engineering
• Maintain, configure, troubleshoot, and optimize enterprise campus switching, routing, and wireless
• Troubleshoot complex Layer 2 and Layer 3 issues involving VLANs, spanning tree, link aggregation
• Support enterprise switching platforms, including EX Series and QFX Series, as well as relevant SRX
• Assist with network software upgrades, hardware replacements, infrastructure refreshes, capacity

🎯 Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience supporting large-scale enterprise network environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with enterprise switching and routing technologies, including EX Series
• Experience supporting large campus network deployments and production networking environments
• Strong understanding of Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking concepts, including VLANs, spanning tree
• Experience with routing protocols such as OSPF and BGP.
• Familiarity with Juniper networking platforms, including SRX300 Series, SRX400 Series and newer
