Network Security Engineer (26-212)

📋 Description

• Assess DoD RMF compliance for information systems.
• Develop cyber-secure configurations for network devices.
• Serve as primary Network Security Engineer for the program.
• Plan, deploy, test network upgrades at sites.
• Conduct research and produce reports on networking topics.
• Ensure systems and devices are STIGed and hardened.

🎯 Requirements

• US citizenship and valid US passport.
• Ability to travel to alternate work locations.
• OSI model, TCP/IP, VLANs, UDP multicast knowledge.
• Firewall configurations: Juniper, Cisco, Palo Alto.
• Experience with multi-vendor switching/routing (Juniper, Cisco).
• DoD security practices, STIG compliance, and system accreditation.
