Network Security Engineer

📋 Description

• Serve as trusted advisor for enterprise customers on network security and performance.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve issues involving DDoS mitigation, firewall rules, SSL/TLS environments.
• Create and maintain knowledge base articles, guides, and troubleshooting docs.
• Compare traffic signatures to determine good vs malicious traffic.
• Advise on DDoS mitigation with Cloudflare tools (Magic Transit, WAF, rate limiting).
• Collaborate with Engineering and Product teams to improve tools and products.

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years experience as Network Security Engineer / Sr. Support in networking or web security.
• Exceptional troubleshooting skills; ability to simplify concepts for customers.
• Strong customer service orientation and communication.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S, and BGP; anycast concepts; iptables.
• Experience troubleshooting network connectivity, BGP routing, GRE tunnels, and packet capture.
