NOC Engineer

📋 Description

• Monitor incidents; triage P3/P4; escalate P1/P2 within 15–30 min.
• Manage eight-site monitoring stacks: Zabbix, LibreNMS, Grafana, Graylog.
• Monitor network health across 8 sites; flag ISP issues.
• Maintain NetBox IPAM accuracy; track licenses and Starlink accounts.
• Handle change control: maintenance windows, VPN provisioning, retrospectives.
• Document fixes and handovers in Jira; draft knowledge-base articles.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years in a NOC or infra support role (2+ years with on-call ownership).
• Networking fundamentals: VLANs, DHCP, DNS, HSRP, routing, switching, firewalls.
• Monitoring/Ticketing: Zabbix, LibreNMS, PRTG; Jira for tickets.
• On-call readiness: overnight/weekend coverage; Tier 2 escalation ownership.
• Desirable: FortiGate, OpenVPN, GCP, NetBox IPAM, Proxmox.
• Attributes: alert, methodical, reliable on watch.
