Non-Sterile Compounding Technician

📋 Description

• Prepare non-sterile compounded medications from approved master formulation records
• Operate 3D printing and hot-melt extrusion equipment, including loading and calibrating the
• Perform in-process quality checks on 3D-printed tablets
• Set up, operate, and clean Korsch tablet presses, including tooling changes and adjustments
• Operate LMX mixers to prepare powder blends and semi-solid formulations
• Verify ingredient quantities, lot numbers, and expiration dates prior to compounding

🎯 Requirements

• Active pharmacy technician license/registration in Texas, in good standing
• 2 years of pharmacy technician experience, preferably in non-sterile compounding, pharmaceutical
• Working knowledge of USP <795> and applicable USP <800> requirements
• Experience preparing non-sterile pharmaceutical formulations
• Familiarity with pharmaceutical compounding equipment
• Strong pharmaceutical calculation skills and attention to detail
