NoSQL Database Administrator

📋 Description

• Install, configure, and maintain MongoDB across dev, test, and prod.
• Monitor performance and apply patches and version updates.
• Ensure high availability via replication, sharding, and backups.
• Create and manage users, roles, and permissions per security policies.
• Design indexing, data modeling, and query optimization.
• Set up replica sets and sharded clusters.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years' experience as MongoDB/NoSQL DBA.
• Strong MongoDB architecture, data modeling, and performance tuning.
• Experience with MongoDB Atlas and on-prem deployments.
• Linux/Unix system administration.
• Scripting: Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
• DevOps tools and CI/CD; cloud platforms AWS/Azure/GCP desirable.
