Nursery Manager (Forest Seedling Nursery)

📋 Description

• Lead all greenhouse, storage, and outdoor seedling production at PRT Hubbard
• Oversee financial management, safety, and site operations
• Develop people, mentor staff, and ensure customer satisfaction
• Achieve production targets: about 25 million seedlings annually
• Manage team of 18 full-time staff with seasonal workers
• Align with PRT values of stewardship and safety

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in horticulture, agriculture, or forestry (or equivalent)
• 5+ years of hands-on nursery ops with leadership experience
• Knowledge of pine seedling nursery operations, irrigation, soil fertility, pesticides
• Strong team leadership and people management skills
• Proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook; strong verbal/written communication
• Customer-driven with safety and excellence focus
