Nursery Specialist

📋 Description

• Manage production of containerized and bareroot forest seedlings.
• Perform seed stratification, planting, irrigation, and harvesting.
• Operate nursery equipment; ensure safe, productive tasks.
• Work on a four-person team reporting to the Nursery Manager.
• Seasonal focus: spring field prep; summer growth; fall/winter harvest.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree/diploma in horticulture, agriculture, or forestry.
• Knowledge of pine seedling nursery operations, equipment, irrigation, and soil fertility.
• Strong team leadership and people management experience.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook; good verbal and written skills.
• Customer-driven with strong work ethic and safety focus.
