Okta Engineer

📋 Description

• Design and configure Okta policies, access controls, and tokens for apps.
• Integrate apps with Okta for authentication and authorization.
• Support migrations of Okta configurations and apps between environments.
• Replace OAG with OIDC and Apache-based access where appropriate.
• Troubleshoot authentication, authorization, and access issues across integrated apps.
• Collaborate with app and identity teams to gather requirements.

🎯 Requirements

• 5-7 years in identity and access management and Okta engineering.
• Hands-on experience with Okta and Okta Access Gateway (OAG).
• Independent at senior level with minimal onboarding for OAG tasks.
• Experience configuring Okta policies, access controls, and token mechanics.
• Experience performing Okta app integrations and troubleshooting authentication flows.
• Familiarity with OIDC and Apache as part of access/reverse-proxy solutions.
