On-Call Lighting Technician

📋 Description

• Assist with setup, installation, and operation of lighting equipment.
• Conduct routine checks on lighting fixtures, cables, and control systems for safety and performance.
• Troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime during shows.
• Support load-ins, load-outs and technical rehearsals with the studio crew.
• Maintain a professional demeanor in a fast-paced, team environment.
• Adhere to Cirque safety policies and electrical/rigging regulations.

🎯 Requirements

• Degree or diploma in Theater Production, Lighting Design, or related field.
• Min. 2 years' experience as a Lighting Technician in live events.
• Proficient with lighting consoles (GrandMA, ETC EOS) and software (Vectorworks, Lightwright).
• Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving under pressure.
• Knowledge of lighting principles, color theory, and DMX protocols.
• Fluent in French and English, written and spoken.
• Williness to work flexible hours.
