Operations & Automation Engineer

📋 Description

• Design, build, and own AI-powered automations for the IT lifecycle.
• Own IT automation roadmap; prototype solutions; measure impact.
• Run IT help desk for ~75 employees; resolve access, provisioning, laptop issues.
• Administer and optimize MDM for Apple devices (Kandji preferred).
• Own full laptop lifecycle: procurement, shipping, refresh, retrieval.
• Administer core IT platforms (Okta, Google Workspace, Jira, SentinelOne) and integrations.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years in IT Operations or IT Support at remote or distributed company.
• Hands-on with LLM APIs (Anthropic/OpenAI/Gemini) to build production automations.
• Experience with Apple devices and MDM (Kandji preferred; Jamf/Intune acceptable).
• IdP administration (Okta): SSO, SCIM provisioning, lifecycle policies.
• Scripting in Python, JavaScript, or Bash, including REST APIs.
• IT compliance programs (SOC 2/ISO 27001) and EDR tooling like SentinelOne.
