Operations Engineer (Material Flow)

📋 Description

• Design and implement material flow from receipt to lineside.
• Develop layouts for material flow and storage; optimize inventory.
• Build labor and equipment models; run time studies; track improvements.
• Develop packaging solutions for vendors and Starbase; optimize landed cost.
• Use data tools (Excel, Tableau, SQL) to assess flow metrics.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Production and Supply Chain on projects to align targets.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial, mechanical, manufacturing engineering, or other engineering.
• 2+ years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 2+ years in material flow engineering solutions.
• Demonstrated leadership driving projects in an industrial environment.
• Analytical skills for detailed data analysis.
• Experience with AutoCAD or similar for warehouse and lineside layouts.
• Experience with material handling equipment and packaging design.
