📋 Description

  • Full-time permanent Optical Assistant role in Cork and surrounding counties
  • Perform Eye Photography to identify retinal damage from diabetes
  • No prior experience required; training provided
  • Join the Retinal Technicians team within a national programme
  • Work with senior technicians, team leader, admin team, programme manager and clinical lead
  • Aim to become a specialist in Retinopathy through ongoing support

🎯 Requirements

  • Experience is not required
  • Full Clean Irish driving licence and safe place to store company vehicle
  • Passion for customer care and positive patient outcomes
  • IT literate: Word, spreadsheets and MS Office
  • Initiative, prioritisation and problem-solving skills
  • Great work ethic and proactive, largely unsupervised after training
